This is a response of mine to a previous response on CNN.com remarking that the campaigns of this election have been promoting fear and hatred. Tell me what you think...
"I couldn't agree with you more. I see the far right bloc enticing fear, hatred, and even discrimination in some instances. Lest we forget, about 1 out of every 4 Texans believe Obama is a Muslim. Why is that problem? Because it's been made a problem. Being a Muslim should NOT be a motive for fear or hate in this country. America is giving the Muslim name a bad name (as if it hasn't been tainted enough by radical Islamic extremists). We must preserve innocent until proven guilty, we must promote the sharing of knowledge, we must close all opportunity of ignorance, and we must be able to throw judgment out the window, or the American public will never fulfill the caliber of progress that we all know it very easily can attain. The hatred is viral and it must be cured for the sake of politics."
