Prisoner at the Bar: Joe Lieberman

Have you ever made a bet that you were pretty sure you had a decent chance you were going to get away with it, even though to others it seems improbable? Have you ever thought of just going for something that, if successful, would improve your life? Have you ever thought of staking on something that if you lost mean drastic change for you?

Have you ever done it with your career?

Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT) did it. If you don't know who he is, he's a traitor and a maverick. He's an independent. Congress has him registered as an Independent Democrat.

What the hell is that?

He supported John McCain, and now the Democrats controlling Washington want to punish him for BEING AN INDEPENDENT. Democrats, what are you doing? You gain the White House and Congress and all of the sudden you want to punish a man for reaching across the aisle and staying faithful to his not-party? Don't let this election get to your head smurfs, you don't get to do everything.

Mister Lieberman, I think you're a little bit of an idiot. You ran for Democratic Vice President in '00. You attempted to run for Democractic President in '04. And then you were almost considered for VP (again) but on the McCain ticket. You're a fool. But you're a true politican. You went for what you thought was right, and now you're getting burned.

I'm not one for burning conservative on the stake, but really Democrats? Get over yourself. So you didn't get one guy. BIG-WHOOP.

UGH.
