Obama 364, Mccain 173. An electoral College landslide.
North Carolinia, previously contested, was put under Obama's colum by 14,000 popular votes. These 14,000 alone put the extreaneous 15 College votes in Obama's column. Dang.
McCain wound up getting Missouri, but only after a contested 49/49 split (2% to third parties) with McCain's tight victory margin of 12,000. Missouri is traditionally a safe Republican state. So was North Carolina. And Florida. And Colorado.
Locally, Calhoun and Larkin won the Assembly and State Senate respectively, and John Hall was re-elected. I had the honor of meeting him on the night he was re-elected. He's an awesome dude.
